How common was the name "Jesus"?

How common was the name Jesus/Immanuel? and when did it start becoming used as a name?

Jesus is the Greek version of the Hebrew "Joshua." It was one of the most common names of their society. When the James Ossuary was being studied, scholars noted that James, Joseph, and Jesus (Joshua) were all common during the first century, so much so that about 25% of the population had one of these three names.
