Board index The Problem of Evil and Suffering

Why do bad things happen? Why is there so much suffering in the world? How can we make sense of it all. Is God not good? Is he too weak?

"God is truth, so for him to not work within principles of logic is absurd."

To which system of non-classical logic are you referring?

None of the above (the non-classical logical systems). When I am discussing logic with regard to God, I am referring to standard logical systems and classical logic: propositional logic, the law of non-contradiction, logical syllogisms and various deductive, inductive, and abductive reasonings, depending on the context of the argument.
