Hello. I'm currently learning about Christianity and I was wondering if its creation story had any impact on the values and beliefs of Christianity. I was also wondering if any rituals or practices were influenced by this creation story

Yes, the creation story is a temple text: God ordering the cosmos and the Earth to function as His temple. Temple themes and God's presence wind through the entire Bible, even up to the very last page.

• The humans are responsible to take good care of creation, to be honorable environmentalists.
• Marriage as being between one man and one woman (Gn. 2.24).
